Scotland could have edge over England on Friday, say gamers

The Euros have finally kicked off and the big talk at the moment is England V Scotland’s group game which takes place this Friday at 8pm.

The tensions are high as these two rivalry teams take to the iconic Wembley Stadium to battle it out in the crucial group D stages.

And Stakester, the competition marketplace which allows users to play online games (such as Fifa) against their friends and real people for a chance to win money and prize, puts Scotland ahead on the performance of rival gamers.

“The Scottish gamers put up a very good game across the board having won 54.5% of matches played between England and Scotland based gamers.

“English players average 4.19 goals per game, which is nearly double that expected of a premier league game (2.72); but the England VS Scotland matches are intense and high scoring, of course. England take the trophy when it comes to biggest wins, netting out at a whopping 11-1, whereas Scotland’s best win VS England is a very respectable 4-1.”

Stakester, throughout the Euros will be using Fifa data and stats to provide its predictions on who’s got the upper kick in the game which will change progressively as the tournament progresses.
