New TV show looking for Hull homes ‘in need of extreme clean’

A new TV series is looking for Hull homes in need of an “extreme clean”.

“Award-winning” production company Avalon is casting for the “exciting” new series for a “major broadcaster” and is searching nationwide for “real people” to star in the series.

In the “sparkling” new show, an “extraordinary team of glamorous cleaning enthusiasts” will come together to rescue homes stuck in domestic despair.

They will transform, messy, cluttered, nightmare abodes to clean, tidy and well organised, Instagram-able homes. As well as give useful and inspiring cleaning/tidying tips.

The production team are looking for local people with homes in need of an extreme clean, help with decluttering, wardrobe organisation, or are feeling generally overwhelmed with keeping their homes hygienic.

In each episode, the cleaning enthusiasts guide two different clients across a journey of self-love, self-care and home improvements resulting in a physical and psychological transformation.

The cleaning makeovers will reveal the transformative power of reforming a living environment and how it can improve how clients feel.

Avalon said: “Perhaps you know or live with someone who could benefit from a cleaning fairy godmother armed with fairy liquid and cleaning skills? Do you live with messy adult children who moved back home during lockdown?

“Does your lifestyle affect your living space? Perhaps your beauty regime has messed up your home with fake tan all over the bedsheets, nails strewn everywhere, or make up covering the carpet in your personal space as well as your face?

“Are you struggling to keep your home clean thanks to your pets shedding fur everywhere and leaving a trail of muddy pawprints?

“Or you love a greasy fry-up but haven’t kept on top of the post-breakfast clean-up resulting in layers of grime and grease in the kitchen?

“Does your salary mean you can’t afford a professional clean, but you have a house/room in your home in need of an extreme cleaning overhaul?

“Whatever your story, if your home is in desperate need of some TLC, Avalon would love to hear from you!”

The series will “combine elements of hit shows ‘Queer Eye’ ‘Tattoo Fixers’ and ‘How Clean is Your House’”.
