It looks like some big themes could be on the cards for a number of star signs in the days ahead.
Half of the zodiac sees Major Arcana cards – the trump cards of Tarot – pulled from the pack for them in this week’s tarotscopes.
The Lovers, The Devil, Temperance, The Emperor, Judgement and The Moon are among the 22 most recognisable cards in the 78-card Tarot deck.
Tarot reader and teacher Nia True from Compass Tarot explains what this could mean.
Cancer – The Lovers
Your themes for the week are congruence and authenticity, Cancer. Can you be with yourself, and those around you, as yourself, or are you having to put on a front? If you are, know that this is an obstacle to connection with yourself, as much as others – what would allow you to do this differently?
Leo – Temperance
Goldilocks wanted her porridge to be just right – not too hot, not too cold – and who are we to judge her for it? This is a week for exploring your own sweet spots, Leo. What does enough look like for you? Are changes required, in order for you to avoid having or doing too much or too little of anything?
Virgo – King of Cups
If there are areas in your life, where a different level of relating is required, this could be the week to step into a leadership role by modelling what you think is needed. This isn’t about telling others how to do things, it’s about showing them with your actions – act from your heart, with kindness, Virgo.
Libra – X of Wands
The world is full of exciting opportunities and things to do, Libra! And you really can’t do all of them, especially not simultaneously. Take care this week to notice what you have on your plate already, what you might be adding to it, and how all of it feels. If you take on too much, none of it will feel like fun.
Scorpio – Ace of Cups
New beginnings are often exciting, Scorpio, but they also bring change, and that can be challenging. Can you step into any opportunities for new connections wholeheartedly this week, holding both your excitement and apprehension with kindness? If it helps, keep coming back to love, and let that be your motivation.
Sagittarius – The Devil
Are you engaging in habits that undermine you and the life you want to live? Are you confusing self care with self indulgence? What hamster wheel has you running without getting anywhere, even though you feel like you’re making progress? These might be helpful questions for you to explore this week, Sagittarius.
Capricorn – The Emperor
Structure, discipline, making a plan and sticking to it – things that some try to resist. But you probably already know that the paradox of good routines and habits, is that held lightly, far from restricting us, they can free us to be more spontaneous, not less. Just make sure that’s the case for you this week, Capricorn.
Aquarius – Judgement
For us to be able to move beyond our mistakes, we have to be honest with ourselves and accept the reality of them. If you can do that this week, you may be surprised by the relief it brings you, Aquarius. When we avoid this process, we carry our errors with us, instead of the learning we could have taken from them.
Pisces – V of Swords
If we are in a mindset of competition with others, then there will always be winners and losers. Being the winner can feel great – but at what cost to our connections with those around us? And we all know that losing sucks. This week, you might benefit from exploring co-operation instead, Pisces.
Aries – The Moon
It’s easy to ignore or avoid things in the dark, Aries. Until we trip over them, that is! This week, you’re invited to allow some light in to your dark places and to reflect on what’s there. The shadow we see from the corner of our eye isn’t nearly as frightening when we look at it directly and accept what we find.
Taurus – King of Pentacles
Don’t shy away from big decisions or the practical action required to get you to where you want to be, this week. This isn’t to say that you should act if it doesn’t feel right, but if you know that you’ve got this, then allow that to inform the level of confidence you have. Act from your place of strength, Taurus.
Gemini – IV of Swords
Busy times make demands on our energy, and if we don’t take time for rest and recuperation, sometimes life enforces a pause for us. If you’re already pausing in a way you wouldn’t have chosen, Gemini, what learning is there here for you? If not, here’s an invitation to make some time to just be.
