Beefeater Kingswood unveils new pop-up gin garden

A new gin garden pop-up in Hull will help thirsty customers hoping to make the most of the soaring summer temperatures before the weather breaks.

They can cool off with ice and a slice at the Beefeater Kingswood, where the new pop-up gin garden, in partnership with Gordon’s Gin & Schweppes, opens from Friday, July 23.

Beefeater has transformed its garden with bunting, giant garden Jenga, colourful umbrellas, and fairy lights throughout, and with an outside gin bar serving expertly mixed G&Ts, it’s destined to be a favourite summer hotspot with locals.

A spokesperson for Beefeater Kingswood, at Kingswood Park, Ennerdale, said: “Enjoy al fresco dining with friends and family in our garden and sip away on a limited-edition cocktail menu crafted by Gordon’s Gin & Schweppes.

“Running alongside Beefeater’s own list of craft ales, beers and summer spritzes, new tipples include the Classic G&T, Gordon’s London Dry gin mixed with Schweppes Tonic with lime and mint, as well as fruity twists like the Gordon’s Pink Gin & Schweppes Pink soda, garnished with strawberry and lime, and the Gordon’s Sicilian Lemon Gin with Schweppes Lemonade, topped with a fresh lemon and thyme.

“Pair this with seasonal dishes from Beefeater’s garden menu, including the signature 8oz sirloin steak, supplied by British and Irish farms; the truffled steak burger, topped with caramelised red onions, cheddar cheese, bacon and served with onion rings; and a Black Forest sundae with brownie and dark cherry compote layers.”

Available for bookings and walk-ins, the gin garden is open on Fridays, 4pm to 9pm, and Saturdays, noon to 9pm, plus bank holidays from noon to 5pm.

“Pop in and make the most of what promises to be a summer of socialising at Beefeater Kingswood – there’s no better place to sit back and unwind,” the spokesperson said.
