Love Island 2021 winners crowned after contestants declare their love

The winners of Love Island 2021 have been crowned tonight (Monday) after a summer ball at the villa.

Liam Reardon and Millie Court were announced as the winning couple and the pair to bag £50,000 prize money.

The couple have seen ups and downs during the ITV series, with Liam even seeing another woman behind Millie’s back.

But in a romantic declaration tonight, he pledged to get back to ‘life outside the Villa’ with Millie.

Millie told Liam: “Seven weeks ago I walked into the Villa not knowing what my journey was going to hold. However, I knew I only had eyes for you.

During his declaration of love, Liam recalled his “special” first kiss with Millie before apologising for his dalliance with Lillie Haynes during his trip to rival villa Casa Amor.

He said: “I then had a challenge thrown my way and I was so sorry for what I had done. Seeing you distraught and I never want to see you that way ever again.”

He added: “As our journey nears the end, I look back and love every minute of it. We now have a new journey to venture into – life outside the Villa.”

Four couples competed to take home the prize – Millie and Liam , Teddy Soares and Faye Winter, Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank and Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran.

Kaz and Tyler placed fourth in the public vote, Teddy and Faye were third and Chloe and Toby were second.

The final day in the villa included a salsa dance class and a spa visit for the females.
