Bank Holiday opening times for B&Q, The Range, Home Bargains, and Homebase in Hull

The August Bank Holiday weekend is here and many of us are getting out in our gardens and finding activities at home to do.

One thing to be aware of is that DIY and home stores will work slightly differently over the bank holiday weekend.

Fear not though, as most will be open, but a number of stores will have a change to their opening times, with some opening later and closing earlier.

With it being the last bank holiday of the year before Christmas you may want to get your DIY items in now.

B&Q



B&Q is expected to be busy this Bank Holiday weekend

B&Q stores at St Andrews Quay, Clough Road, and Ferry Lane are open 7am-8pm every day apart from Sunday, where it is open 10am to 4pm.

B&Q is currently holding a bank holiday sale including 50% off garden furniture and outdoor play, 20% off coloured emulsion, 20% off laminate flooring and 20% off curtains and cushions.

The pick of the deals include £44 off Weber gas BBQs.

It is the premium name in BBQs and the big discounts will prove to be popular if there is summer weather. Sun loungers, parasols, paddling pools and more garden items are all reduced in the sale. The sales run until August 30.

The Range



The Range in Hull will be open this Bank Holiday weekend

The Range has 190 stores across the UK and the majority will be open between 9am to 8pm on Bank Holiday Monday.

The Clough Road store will be open from 10.30am until 4:30pm on Sunday.

If you want to avoid the queues you can order before midnight to get next day delivery.

Homebase



Here are the latest rules DIY stores such as B&Q and Homebase have put in place, along with discount retailers such as Home Bargains Pictured, Shoppers in Home Bargains at Kingston Retail Park

Sainsburys Way, Hessle

Sunday: 10am until 4pm

Monday: 8am until 8pm

Homebase recommends customers double check the store opening times using the store locator on its website as this can vary. You can find that here.

It currently has a major clearance sale on everything from painting and decorating to tools and building materials.

The pick of the deals include a gazebo reduced from £170 to just £85 and discounted BBQs. You can see them here.

Opening times for Home Bargains stores vary, with some stores open for shorter hours on bank holiday Monday and some open as normal.

Boothferry Road

Sunday: 10am until 4pm

Monday: 8am until 6pm

Northpoint

Sunday: 10am until 4pm

Monday: 8am until 6pm

The same hours apply for Home Bargains at Kingston Shopping Centre.
