Beverley’s Married at First Sight star Marilyse Corrigan reveals true feelings for new husband

Wednesday’s episode of Married at First Sight made clear the difference in success between the couples, as the 16 newly weds attended their first dinner party as a group.

Some admitted to falling in love, while others disclosed to their fellow contestants that they and their partner were polar opposites.

But, Beverley mum, Marilyse Corrigan, and her husband, Franky Spencer, appeared to be going from strength to strength and shone through as one of the show’s stronger couples.

While getting ready for the show’s first dinner party on Wednesday, Marilyse asked Franky: “So, what do you think the chances are that all the other couples are happy like we are?”

Personal trainer Marilyse stunned in a royal blue dress and the couple made a strong entrance upon their arrival.

Interactions between the pair were characterised by handholding and smiles, making the chemistry between them undeniable as they took to our screens on E4 on Wednesday.

It was clear to their other co-stars too. When sat around the dinner table, the other men teased Franky saying that he was “smitten.”

He responded: “I’m not smitten, I’m very lucky that someone is everything you could ask for. We’re solid man.”

Despite the explosive arguments between other contestants and drama that dominated the dinner party, the couple managed to air their positive feelings about their relationship to others around the table.

In a similar conversation with co-star, Morag Crichton, Marilyse said: “He’s a proper gent, I’ve never met any one so decent.”

She even told her that Franky has the seal of approval from her family. She said: “My mum said if you don’t like him, send him to me.”

The next episode brings the first commitment ceremony, where the couples will decide whether they stay married or not.

Marilyse and Franky’s relationship appears to be on the up, but the fate of the well-suited pair relies on what decisions they make at the ceremony.
