As each couple entered the room, it was clear that more couples had suffered splits than those who had survived and stayed strong.

But, one of those who lasted were Marilyse and Franky – who dropped the bombshell that he had left Dubai behind to move to East Yorkshire.

The couple walked into the reunion hand in hand beaming and stunned in matching black outfits.

As they made their entrance, even the experts gasped, “they look super happy together,” which Marilyse confirmed when she gushed, “I’m just happy.”

In the episode, which aired on E4, the contestants watched clips from their weddings and had a chat with the stranger they married about their journey on a sofa in front of the experts.

When it came to Marilyse and Franky’s turn to be called up, Franky confirmed that he was now living in the same town as his personal trainer wife.
