Millie Bobby Brown spotted in Hull’s Old Town during Enola Holmes 2 filming

Hollywood superstar Millie Bobby Brown has been spotted walking through Hull’s Old Town.

The 17-year-old actress was dressed in Victorian-style clothing on the Hull set of Enola Holmes 2 on Wednesday afternoon.

She is reprising her lead role as Enola, Sherlock Holmes’ sister, after the success of the first film led to a sequel.

The superstar appeared to be on her break; she was holding her mobile phone and a large red mug.

It comes after a large cast of extras were spotted filling the streets as they film the upcoming sequel to the first Enola Holmes film.

Parts of Old Town in Hull have been reimagined as Victorian London for the filming of the sequel and the cast arrived on Wednesday ready for action.

Residents in the area have been warned about closures on High Street, Scale Lane, Bishops Lane, and Chapel Lane, but they are sure to spot some famous faces.

Filming was conducted in the city centre on October 5 and throughout Wednesday October 6.

The original Enola Holmes movie was released last year and starred Stranger Things’ Millie Bobbie Brown as the title character and Henry Cavill as Enola’s brother Sherlock Holmes – both will return for the sequel.

Millie told Entertainment Weekly: “I always said I loved playing the role because I didn’t just do one thing and then stop playing her.

“I love that I can continually play her, and with the Enola book series… I really am optimistic about the future.”

Superman actor Henry Cavill was spotted on Tuesday in the city as one of the stars of the upcoming sequel, who plays Sherlock Holmes.
