Hull Fair-inspired cheesecake at Dirty Pudds takeaway for a limited time

A Hull-based takeaway that specialises in delicious jars of pudding is selling for a limited only their own edible version of Hull Fair.

Dirty Pudds launched in February and sell massive jars of pudding for £6.50 each for weekly delivery to Hull postcodes.

While the business has six regular pudding offerings, including the hazelnut, chocolate and Ferrero Roche-based ‘Only Fools Roche In’, it is also selling a Hull Fair-inspired pudding for this month only.

“It’s one of four limited editions available for October, and I wanted to create something for people that aren’t going to the Fair this year, so that they could still enjoy a treat at home,” said Dirty Pudds owner Vicki Suddaby.

“I think Hull Fair is a real love it or hate it event.

“Personally, I absolutely love it, although I won’t be visiting this year as it just feels a bit too soon.”

Hull Fair in pudding form includes creamy candyfloss-flavoured cream cheese, with layers of bubblegum sauce and shortcake biscuit.

This mouthwatering prospect is topped by pink chocolate curls, a sugar dummy, rainbow cable, soft nougat, cotton candy Mike & Ike jelly beans, candy beans, icing and Dirty Pudd’s “signature gold chocolate balls”.

“I love visiting Hull Fair for the food, and wanted to try and create something nostalgic with the candy floss flavour and sweet toppings.

“I couldn’t fit a toffee apple in the jar so had to settle for a sugar dummy.”

The Hull Fair is one of four limited edition extra flavours available for delivery from Dirty Pudds for the month of October only.

The other limited edition cheesecakes are the white chocolate orange-based ‘Boo-Ya!’, ‘Trick or Treat’ chocolate cheesecake chonks and the butterscotch-infused ‘Cind’ and Snap’.

Orders close for this week at 9pm today.
