Hull Fair has returned with a bang for 2021 after a two-year absence due to the Covid pandemic.
The first night has attracted huge crowds coming to enjoy the large number of rides, games and food stalls.
Hull’s Lord Mayor Lynn Petrini officially opened the fair at 5pm and thousands of people have turned out to enjoy the sights sounds and thrills.

Hull Live was there to snap some pictures of the amazing rides and stalls as families, teenagers and children at heart enjoyed the first night.
There are more than 100 rises, 80 kids’ rides and almost 100 food stalls for visitors to enjoy.
There have been concerns about holding the event with Covid still prevalent but a number of measures have been put in place to keep everyone as safe as possible.
