Christmas is just weeks away, with a number of homes already decorated for the festive season.
This year it seems that many of us need the magical season more than ever following a difficult festive season in 2020, due to Covid restrictions.
While some have dazzled their homes already, others are starting the enjoyable task of shopping for decorations.
And, there is no better way to start than with the perfect real Christmas tree. Nothing beats that smell!
Luckily for Hull residents there are plenty of spots to chose from to pick the perfect tree. Here are some of the best spots to get a real tree this Christmas.
Kirk Ella Grange Farm
Hull Christmas Trees, Kirk Ella, is a family-run business and is the perfect spot for a day out with the family.
They sell “premium quality trees and have a wide selection of Nordman, Norway spruce and pot grown trees.”
All the trees are locally sourced from Lincolnshire. Owners say they are getting a stock of trees delivered twice a week so they stay as fresh as possible.
You can pick up a tree from the farm and also have one delivered.
Willerby Christmas trees
The Anlaby Retail Park store staff will deliver your tree home completely free of charge and can set it up for you two.
Last year all the Christmas trees all sold out after the spot was “extremely busy”.
Prices start from £35 per tree, said to be “the freshest locally grown real Nordman fir variety Christmas trees”.
