Argos price ‘glitch’ as Philips Hue bulbs listed at two for £12

Argos shoppers have spotted a price glitch that allows them to buy two Philips Hue light bulbs for just £12.

The trick was spotted by users of HotUKDeals and cuts the price of the smart bulbs, which can be controlled by voice control, to just £6 each.

Argos has listed Philips Hue B22 / E27 White Smart Filament Bulb with Bluetooth for £17 each in its Special Deals section for Black Friday but shoppers have noticed that if you add two of the bulbs to your basket it discounts the price to just £12 for two.

One user says: “Priced at £17.99 each but if you add two Philips Hue B22 White Smart Filament Bulb with Bluetooth to basket it’s discounting by £23.98 to get for £12 (£6 each). Appears to be an error.”

The bulbs are usually priced at over £30 each, meaning huge discounts for those who use the pricing glitch.

Others have confirmed you can add a bulb from two different stores to get the deal if it says stock has run out as shoppers flock to secure the offer.

Philips Hue lightbulbs can be operated via Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri and work with both Android and iOS operating systems. They work over Wifi and allows you to control lighting with your voice.
